I'd found out this morning that A close high-School aquaintance,Anders, passed away yesterday. This was two days short of his 24th (& my 23rd, we shared the same birthday). He was a great guy. We had an Acting class together in my Junior (his Senior), when he was involved in a car accident, that left him in a wheelchair (as far I knew, The last I saw him was when he graduated) & brain-damaged. He was to be in a play at the school that very night. He recovered enought to continue some acting (he could still speak, although slowly & in therapy to walk again.)

Went out today & treated myself to an early birthday present of BLINKING WITH FISTS at Barnes & Noble, this after I found out that I wasn't getting it through Powells.com (I'm still getting the other books I placed). It's good so far, I usually re-read something several times incase there's something I missed, besides I have other things that I got.

I've a clarification to make. On the Song secrets list on the Vortex of Lost Souls website, it has a comment under Siamese Dream (The Album)that the first pressing of SD had a booklet with "each picture with lyrics on a separate page" whlie later pressings just had a fold out insert with thumbnails. Here's my thing. My copy of Siamese Dream (bought about 2 years ago at Best Buy) has a booklet with the pictures, but the lyrics are "scrawled on them (basically, I'm saying they're on the same page). What's going on? And does that mean I may have an original pressing of SP? (Prob not, but you never know)

Again with the DNC In Boston, I tend to stay away from anything that seems to be made a big hype about (I'm just like that, with all the coverage about). But I saw that on the O'Reilly Factor last night, besides a heavily publicized interview with nemesisnemisis Michael Moore (So ironic I just happen to bought both their recent books as Christmas presents for my father), it was also shown the Ben was also going to talk with O'Reilly. He was the first on the show that night & I was pleased with the interview. I kinda had a love/dislike "relationship" with Ben (and many other celeb Dems as of recently) Fronting Kerry with all the Bush-Bashing going on, But, after hearing Ben, I have to say, his political view is O.K. by my standards. (I can't remember word for word what exactly was said.)

With the DNC going on in Boston this week, I got a question? The Democrats have the Donkey (or Jackass as my mother so puts it) & the Republicans have the elephant, but what about whose of us who are Independent (like myself)? I just don't like something being left out. What animal would most likely represent the Independent party?
